Title tag checker: missing and duplicate page titles

The title tag is usually what shows as the blue link in search results. Every page needs its own. ShipPatrol checks every page it crawls.

Why it matters

A missing title makes Google invent one. The same title on every page, common in single-page apps, makes all your pages look identical in results and in browser tabs.

How Patch checks

We read the <title> of each page after rendering and flag empty ones and ones shared by more than one page.

How to fix it

2.

  1. Give each page a unique title that says what's on it, ideally under 60 characters, with your brand at the end.
  2. In React apps, set the title per route (for example with react-helmet-async) and make sure it's in the pre-rendered HTML.

Your own report goes further: it names the exact pages, services and settings Patch found on your site, and with a full report you get a fix prompt to paste into Lovable, Bolt or Cursor.
