Questions

What do I get for free?

A full scan of your site from the UK, the EU and the US, a score and grade, every issue Patch found with its severity, and the full detail (what's wrong, the evidence and the rules behind it) on the top three. Fixes are part of the paid report.

What does the $19 full report add?

Evidence and plain-English fix steps for every issue, plus fix prompts you can paste into Lovable, Bolt or Cursor. It is a one-off payment for one report on one site. There is no subscription.

What is Patrol?

Patrol is $29 a month and covers up to 3 sites. Patch re-scans each site every day and whenever you deploy (through a deploy hook you add to Vercel, Netlify or a GitHub Action), and emails you when something new turns up. Every Patrol report is fully unlocked.

Can I cancel Patrol?

Yes, any time. Sign in to Patrol and choose "Manage or cancel your plan", or email matt@pixelarcventures.co.uk from the address on your account. Your plan runs to the end of the month you have paid for and does not renew.

Do I need an account for a free scan?

No. Paste your address and Patch starts. Accounts are only for Patrol, and sign-in is by email link, so there is no password to remember.

Is a ShipPatrol report legal advice?

No. ShipPatrol is not a law firm. Every legal check names the official guidance it is based on, such as the UK ICO or the European Data Protection Board, and the date we last reviewed it, so you can see exactly what it is checked against.

Does Patch break anything on my site?

No. He visits like a normal browser, clicks your cookie banner and reads your pages. He never submits forms. Deeper checks, such as reading your database rules with your public key, only run after you verify you own the site.

Can Patch open pull requests on GitHub?

Not yet. GitHub fix pull requests are coming soon. For now, paid reports give you fix prompts to paste into the tool you built with, and step-by-step fixes.

How do payments work?

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Prices are in US dollars.
